EverWash has released a major update to its Attendant App, introducing a suite of enhancements designed to improve sign-up accuracy, reduce on-site friction, and unlock new membership growth opportunities for car wash operators nationwide.
The update was developed directly from feedback collected across the EverWash network of 1,000+ partner locations. The result is a faster, smarter, and more secure attendant-driven experience — one that better equips on-site staff to sell memberships with confidence and gives operators more control over their membership program.
A Smarter, Streamlined Sign-Up Flow
The updated sign-up flow now creates the member account before plan selection. This change allows the system to identify existing EverWash accounts earlier in the process using phone number, email, or license plate data.
By detecting existing accounts sooner, operators benefit from fewer duplicate memberships, cleaner customer records, reduced promotion misuse, and less friction at the point of sale. The attendant interface has also been simplified to remove consumer-facing elements, keeping attendants in control of the interaction from start to finish.
Unlocking Re-Signups and Winbacks at the Point of Sale
For the first time, attendants can add new memberships to existing accounts and update payment methods within the same sign-up flow. This enables real-time winbacks for canceled or lapsed members — eliminating the friction that previously required off-site follow-up and allowing operators to recover lost memberships directly at the point of interaction.
Clearer Discount and Family Plan Visibility
The updated app clearly communicates when discounts apply — and when they do not — while still crediting attendants for the sale. For locations that support family plans, applicable discounts are displayed during sign-up, making it easier for attendants to upsell additional vehicles and communicate long-term membership value on the spot.
Secure Existing Account Verification
When a sign-up matches an existing account, attendants are guided through a secure verification step using a one-time code sent directly to the member. This ensures memberships are only added by the rightful account holder and protects stored payment information. If the account does not belong to the customer in front of the attendant, a new account can be created instead — maintaining flexibility without sacrificing security.
License Plate Capture and Cashier Mode
License plate capture is now enabled by default. When active, the system checks for existing plate matches during sign-up and guides attendants through confirmation steps when potential duplicates are detected — protecting revenue and discouraging promotion abuse.
For locations where attendants operate from a cashier station without a direct line of sight to the vehicle, EverWash has introduced Cashier Mode. When enabled, Cashier Mode removes the license plate requirement from the sign-up screen while keeping all other new features fully intact. Operators can work with their EverWash Account Manager to enable Cashier Mode for their location.
Faster Promotions with Set Referral Codes
The Attendant App now includes a Set Referral Code feature. When enabled, attendants can set a referral code once at the start of their shift and have it apply automatically to every sign-up — no re-entry required. Set referral codes reset at the end of each session, preventing codes from carrying over between attendants while keeping on-site promotions fast and consistent during high-volume periods.
Location-Based Attendant Tracking
Attendants who work across multiple locations are now required to select their active wash at login. This ensures all sign-ups, scans, and activity are attributed to the correct site, reducing reporting discrepancies and improving operational transparency — a particularly valuable update for multi-location operators who need clean, reliable data across their membership program.
